A traditional African/Caribbean strategy game for 2 players.
Start with 4 marbles in each of the 12 cups, then sow the marbles around the board.
If the final marble falls into an opponent's cup which then contains 2 or 3 marbles, you win them and put them safely in your oval store.
Part of the mancala family, it is played throughout West Africa and the Caribbean, also known as Ayò (Yoruba), Awalé (Côte d'Ivoire), Warri (Caribbean), Adji (Ewe), Nch (Igbo) and Awélé (Ga).
There are many versions & variations: our Wari comes with one detailed version of this intriguing game.
